Michael has a strong history of providing legal advice and services In a friendly and relaxed atmosphere but with the highest standard.

He won an award at the 2001 Waikato Business person of the year awards-in the best professional services sector.

Michael has been a lawyer in Hamilton since 1985, he has a loyal client base that has had Michael help them achieve their best outcomes in various matters and look after their best interests generally.

Michael studied economic’s as well as Law at University, obtaining a double degree. He also has part completed a Finance Diploma from Massey University, that is why he has such a passionate interest in investment advice, estate planning, Tax planning, finance, retirement planning/advice, Elder law, wills, trusts, and advising new immigrants on such matters.

Michael ran his own practice called Hunwick & Co Law for many years. He joined Jeremy Brook at Brook Law in 2007 as a consultant.
